Dress Shirts

In the dry cleaning industry, we tend to overlook the fact that not every customer or local resident is aware of the book of services we provide to our community.

While dry cleaning items may take a bigger bite out of your budget, there is one commonly worn garment that certainly doesn’t break the bank. Your button-down dress shirt is cleaned for just a few bucks. We understand that in current economics, people have trained themselves to stretch their disposable income further and further. We hear all the time “I wear my pants three or four times before having them cleaned.” I can talk all day about the value of cleaning your wool pants and getting the fibers to heat and reshape themselves, as well as talk about how much more professional you look with a sharp crease down the center of them. But the bottom line is that if you think they are clean, you will likely hang them up and wear them again.

But shirts, that’s a different story. Shirts are more affordable because of the semi-automation with respect to pressing. If you have been to our plant in Kingston during the morning hours, you have seen this bad-ass shirt unit rotating in a 360-degree motion while it presses your shirt. And the biggest benefit of all…..You don’t have to iron it! I hate ironing as well, and for $3.50 to clean and press a dress shirt, you can’t beat it. Let’s not forget the immeasurable benefit of wearing a nice crisp shirt. I don’t know about you, but when I put on a fresh-pressed shirt and tie, I feel like I’m ready to take on the world. As the legend Deion Sanders once said;

“If you look good, you feel good. If you feel good, you play good. If you play good, they pay good.“

Take a look at the video below. It’s an interesting machine and takes a skilled, fast-paced operator to keep up with it. And while you’re at it, bring in a bundle of shirts and let us save you the time and aggravation of ironing!!
