How does Scanlon’s Cleaners Pick-Up & Delivery service work?

Our Pick-Up & Delivery service is designed to make garment care effortless. Using the Scanlon’s Cleaners app, you can schedule orders, manage payment methods, customize garment care preferences, and track your orders from start to finish—all from your phone.

Simply place your items in your designated pick-up location, and our driver will take care of the rest.

What can I do in the Scanlon’s Cleaners app?

The Scanlon’s Cleaners app gives you complete control over your garment care preferences, including:

Do I need to be home for pick-up or delivery?

No. Most of our customers aren’t home when we stop by, and that’s exactly how we designed the service.

Leave your items in your designated pick-up location, and we’ll take care of the rest. When your order is complete, we’ll return everything to the location you’ve specified in the app.

The whole point of Pick-Up & Delivery is to save you time—not create another appointment you have to keep.

What are your pick-up and delivery hours?

Our service window is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

While our vans typically begin their routes around 9:00 AM, we recommend having your items ready by 8:00 AM to ensure we can service your stop without delay.

Will my driver arrive at the same time every visit?

Not necessarily. Our routes are dynamic and adjust based on customer demand, service frequency, and route efficiency.

This allows us to provide reliable service while serving customers throughout the Mid-Hudson Valley as efficiently as possible.

Can I tell the driver where to leave my cleaned items?

Absolutely. You can leave detailed notes directly in the Scanlon’s Cleaners app.

Whether you’d like your garments hung on a porch, placed in a mudroom, left inside a garage, or delivered to another approved location, our drivers will follow your instructions whenever possible.

What if I don’t have a safe place for pick-up and delivery?

For customers who prefer not to leave garments unattended, our app includes an on-demand service option powered by Uber.

This feature allows you to request service when you’re ready, providing a convenient and secure alternative to traditional route service.

How will I know where my order is?

You’ll receive notifications throughout the entire process.

Our system keeps you informed when your order has been picked up, processed, and delivered, so you’ll always know the status of your garments.

Can I set up recurring service?

Yes. The app allows you to schedule recurring pick-up and delivery service so your cleaning needs run on autopilot.

Many of our customers choose weekly service, making it easy to keep up with dry cleaning, laundry, household items, and seasonal garments without having to remember to place an order.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. The Scanlon’s Cleaners app uses secure payment processing to protect your information and provide a safe, convenient checkout experience.

Your payment information is stored securely, allowing for seamless transactions with every order.

Can I tip my driver?

Yes. In fact, you’ll see an option to add a tip directly within the Scanlon’s Cleaners app before submitting your order.

If you’d like, you can also set up a recurring tip amount so your appreciation is automatically included with future orders.

While tipping is never required, it is always appreciated by our hardworking drivers who help make Pick-Up & Delivery service so convenient.
